WILD BLACKBERRY (Rubus villoeus)

Delicious jams and jellies can be made from the wild blackberry.  Thorny branches make it a challenge to pick the berries which mature from green to red to black.  Our Michigan black bears also love the berries.  -page 130,  Reflections of a Country Publisher
